About
We all want to know about our family’s history. Knowing history helps us understand the present. Knowing our family’s history helps us understand characteristics about ourselves. History is not only a topic of research, but it is created each and every moment. This website is about the connections that history builds within family.
To navigate this website either select the topic at the top or use the Search box to the right. The titles at the top of the page will take you to an introduction and overview of each of the topics. If there is a particular name or recipe that you are looking for you can use the Search function in the sidebar. Historical names, especially those in the early 1800s, used various spellings. If your Search request doesn’t provide you the results that you expect, try a different spelling, or search by a portion of the name only. Just as an example, individuals of the surname Faulkner in this Faulkner Family Farm used spellings of Faulkner, Falkner, Falconer, and Fortner.
This website is designed to continue to grow as more family dinners are enjoyed and as more research discovers family history. Your comments and input are not only welcomed but will also assist in making this a full Heritage Connection. Some ideas on what to use as comments would be personal memories or stories that have been handed down. Those are the true gems of family.
